START WHEREYOU ARE
Creativity isn’t something we do—it’s who we are. A creative practice is where we cultivate the conditions to embody it
What It Is
A wayOF BEINGWe tend to think of creativity as the act of making something: a piece of art, a book, an innovative business idea. But creativity is much more than that. It’s about what we notice, what we nurture, what we question, and what we choose to bring into existence.
Alterform is an exploration of creativity as a way of being.
We live in a culture that is constantly competing for our attention: Algorithms tell us what to care about. Metrics tell us what matters. AI can generate endless possibilities. And somewhere in all that noise, many of us have lost touch with what genuinely matters. This is a practice for finding your way back. A practice for navigating uncertainty, developing creative judgment, and creating with greater intention. A space to reclaim your attention, trust your curiosity, and create from a place that feels alive.
CREATIVITY
How It Works
THE PRACTICEIS THE ARTAlterform is built around seven movements. Together, they form a practice for paying attention, exploring possibilities, navigating uncertainty, and bringing ideas into the world.
The movements are not meant to be followed in order. They reflect patterns that appear throughout the creative process and throughout life itself. You return to them again and again. Not to “hack” creativity, but to develop a more conscious relationship with it.
WHO
IT’S
FOR
create on your own terms This is for people who sense there is more to creativity than making things. People who feel the pressure to keep up, stay visible, and constantly produce, and find themselves questioning whether more is actually the answer. People who want to engage with their work, ideas, and how they live, more consciously. The practice invites a simple shift: Instead of moving through life on autopilot, you learn to recognize where you are, what a situation requires, and how to respond with greater awareness. You become more attentive to what captures your interest. More comfortable with uncertainty. More willing to experiment before needing certainty. Over time, creativity becomes less about producing more and more about developing a deeper connection with attention, curiosity, and change. Because the value of a creative practice is not only what you create. It is also who you become through the process.

Why It Matters
A DIFFERENT
WAY TO CREATE
At its heart, it is an invitation to create things. The creative process isn’t just how we bring ideas into reality. It teaches us how to pay attention, make sense of complex situations, generate new possibilities, and build shared understanding with others. Our practice, and the things we create, become a conduit for something larger: a more intentional way of moving through the world.
MORE CREATINGEach movement represents a different way of working with a moment. Together, they reflect the range of situations you move through in creative work and everyday life — from cultivating presence, knowing when to step back and how to move through uncertainty. The practice helps you recognize what each moment is asking for, rather than defaulting to habit or reactivity.
Together, they form a practice for shifting out of autopilot. Instead of constantly absorbing content and responding reactively, you slow down enough to notice what is actually happening. Over time, this builds a more intentional relationship with yourself, your work, and how you engage with the world.
